What is Orthodontics? Orthodontics is a specialised branch of dentistry concerned with the development and management of irregularities and abnormalities of the teeth, jaw and face. Orthodontic treatment with fixed appliances can vary between one year for a simple case and 18-24 months for a more complicated case, during which you will need to be seen every 6-8 weeks to adjust your brace.
